Yes, Revlon are late jumping on the lip crayon bandwagon, but here’s why their new ColorBurst Lip Crayons are so worth the wait

Today’s the day! Revlon have finally launched their collection of Colorburst Lip Crayons in Boots, and boy are they good. There are a whopping 26 different shades, plus three finishes for you to choose from. The ColorBurst Balm Stains leave a light stain on the lips with a  shine, the ColorBurst Lacquer Balms are more subtle and shimmery, and the ColorBurst Matte Balms are brighter and richer.

I was introduced to these beautiful pencils at their launch back in November (I know, I know, should have blogged weeks ago but I’ve been kinda busy moving to Australia – another story).

The colour glides on smoothly thanks to the Shea, mango and coconut butters. This ”Triple Butter Complex” moisturises the lips, while the high pigmented formula gives great coverage that stays on well for a good couple of hours or until you eat something.

Not only are they easy to apply, you don’t need a sharpener for them. When it becomes blunt, all you do is twist the bottom for your next dose of lip smacking colour.

Here are the swatches of my favourite shades…

Matte Balm in Shameless (215)

Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain Crayon in Rendezvous (040)  revlon-colorburst-crayon-Re

Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm Crayon in Demure (105) revlon-colorburst-crayon-De

Revlon ColorBurst Matt Balm Crayon in Unapologetic (210) revlon-colorburst-crayon-un

I think the most kissable crayons are the Matte balms for their intense colour and satin finish. What do you think? Will you pick up a couple at a cool £7.99 each?
